Actress Deepika Padukone flatly refused the proposal that she got in London where she is currently shooting for her forthcoming film for Desi Boyz. A wealthy Punjabi family offered her Rs. 4 crores to perform her Dum Maaro Dum item number at a private party they were organizing for their friends and relatives. But they wanted Deepika Padukone to wear the same clothes she wore in the song and would have to do the song with same choreography.

It is revealed that Deepika Padukone was shocked after hearing what they demanded. However, the news is true or fake nobody can say but one thing is for sure that the vivacious actress is not at all interested to dance at private parties, and it’s heard that she turned down the offer. Not just that let’s peep inside some more interesting scoop. As rumours have it, it seems like our Om (Shahrukh Khan) still has a soft corner for his Shanti (Deepika Padukone). According to the latest buzz, Shahrukh Khan wants to rope in the sizzling lass for a music video he’s looking forward for his next production venture, Ra.One that stars Kareena Kapoor in the lead role. As appeared, Shahrukh thought of casting Deepika Padukone after watching her Dum Maaro Dum item song. Obviously this is not the first time the Bollywood babe will be doing an item song for Shahrukh Khan. After her superhit debut opposite King Khan in “Billu”. But still the actress haven’t given her nod to the superstar as she has to look out if she has a hectic schedule for the year or will she be able to spare time to shoot the video.
