Actors Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Prakash Jhamet with the press about this film at WTF, a trendy dinner located in Andheri, Mumbai, and explained the concept of the concept of the film, and their feelings behind working on this project that has raised such a controversial issue. The Movie is surrounded by controversial as it is based on policies of caste based reservations in educational institutes and government jobs, by now the movie has led to several press meetings discussing the film.

Saif Ali Khan’s character in the film has upset a Dalit group that goes by the name of Dalit Suraksha Samiti and they have has shot off a letter to prakash Jha expressing their protest over Saif playing the dalit character. Jha’s Raajneeti was also in controversy before its release Deepika Padukone beside Aarakshan has recently finished shooting for the first schedule of Rajinikanth-starrer Rana and Desi Boyz with Akshay Kumar. The second schedule of Rana is on hold as Rajinikanth will be kept under observation for few more days .

So bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has given shoot for solo number by director K S Ravikumar, in order not to waste her call-sheet. For Rana the shoot will is expected to be in July. Deepika now will land up to London for a month-and-half-long schedule for Homi Adajania’s film, Cocktail. The Movie will be launching a proper love story of Saif and Deepika , after Love Aaj Kal as Aarakshan is more of a political drama.
